Are you a Single Mother?
A Fresh Start for Single Mothers & Their Children Community Outreach Project hosts weekly life advancement groups. Through education and inspiration, we empower single mothers to attain and maintain self sufficiency with the mindset that positive changes made by the mothers will influence their children’s future.
All single mothers from our community are welcome to participate.
Some of the weekly topics covered are: Budgeting, Finance, Employment,
Interviewing Strategies, Health, Wellness, Stress Management,
Domestic Violence Awareness / Child Protection, Parenting on Your Own,
Car Care Essentials or Self Defense, Beauty Out Of Ashes, Single But Never Alone..
and much more...
Meetings Include educational guest speakers, dinner, family encourager, small group discussion time, childcare, special K-5th grade program,
single mothers testimonies of survival & success,
Goodies, Groceries & Giveaways
and access to our Food Pantry, Special Events & Community Connections Program,
all at no cost to our participating families
Single mothers have a wonderful opportunity to connect and
form new supportive friendships with other single mothers.
This is not a support group we are an empowerment group!
The Fresh Start program seeks to break the cycle of broken relationships,
generational failures, shaping hearts of our next generation.
Promoting positive life advancements, inspirational ideas and educational information.
Our focus is to help single mothers accept the singleness factor and move beyond it.
Teaching ways to utilize the support and encouragement of other single mothers
and information presented in the program.
Uniquely designed motivational tools, educational guest speakers, dynamic small groups and visual demonstrations to illustrate the power of information and enlightenment!
